Dealing With A Lawyer
A New York divorce lawyer died and arrived at the pearly gates.
Saint Peter asks him, “What have you done to merit entrance into Heaven?”
The Lawyer thought a moment, then said, “A week ago, I gave a quarter to a homeless person on the street.”
Saint Peter asked Gabriel to check this out in the record, and after a moment Gabriel affirmed that this was true.
Saint Peter said, “Well, that’s fine, but it’s not really quite enough to get you into Heaven.”
The Lawyer said, “Wait, Wait! There’s more! Three years ago I also gave a homeless person a quarter.”
Saint Peter nodded to Gabriel, who after a moment nodded back, affirming this, too, had been verified.
Saint Peter then whispered to Gabriel, “Well, what do you suggest we do with this fellow?”
Gabriel gave the Lawyer a sidelong glance, then said to Saint Peter, “Let’s give him back his 50 cents and tell him to go to Hell.”

I Suppose Your One Of Those Who Are Just Here For The Paycheck
A paycheck? Oh, no, I’m not here for the money. I’m in it for the love of team building exercises, the perk of wearing jeans on Fridays, and the possibility of free grocery store sheet cake once monthly to honor every single employee who had a birthday that month in one go.

Life Choices
An older man was married to a younger woman. After several years of a very happy marriage, he had a heart attack. The doctor advised him that in order to prolong his life, they should cut out sex.
He and his wife discussed the matter and decided that he should sleep in the family room downstairs to save them both from temptation.
One night, after several weeks of this, he decided that life without sex wasn’t worth living. So he headed upstairs. He met his wife on the staircase and said, “I was coming to die.”
She laughed and replied, “I was just coming down to kill you!”

That’s A Good Way To Live To A Ripe Old Age
An elderly lady on a flight ordered a mini bottle of whiskey and a pack of salted peanuts from the flight attendant.
The young man sitting next to her frowned and said, “Ma’am, at this altitude, alcohol dehydrates you twice as fast, and the sodium is terrible for your blood pressure.”
The old lady took a sip and said, “My grandmother lived to be 106.”
The young man asked, “Really? Did she drink a gallon of alkaline water every day?”
The lady replied, “No, she lived to 106 because she sat in her own seat and kept her mouth shut.”

The Pastor’s Wife
Gladys was the preacher’s wife and accompanied her husband each Sunday to church.
One particular Sunday when the sermon seemed to go on forever, many in the congregation fell asleep. After the service, to be sociable, she walked up to a very sleepy looking gentleman.
In an attempt to revive him from his stupor, she extended her hand in greeting, and said, “Hello, I’m Gladys Dunn.”
To which the gentleman replied, “You’re not the only one!”
